My 14.5-year-old yellow lab, Bo, has a large fatty tumor on his back that has recently turned purple, hardened, and started bleeding and oozing. He is not eating but drinking water, struggles with walking, and has been in pain. What can I do to help him until he can see a vet, and what signs should I watch for to determine if this is an emergency?

My dog has coughed up a clear liquid about five times today. Her breathing is normal, and she hasn't been in contact with other dogs recently. She's an 8-year-old shih tzu mix, has food available all day but usually eats once to twice a day, and is on flea and tick prevention and heartworm medication. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Rosie, has been vomiting and having diarrhea with blood for the past 7 hours. She ate carrot soup with onions 18 hours ago but did not eat the onion itself. She is a 6 kg mixed breed dog and is 1 year old. Her vet is not available until Monday morning. What can I do to help her now?

My 7-year-old dog, Benji, has developed a pinkish-brownish bump on his skin. He was previously itching a lot due to skin allergies, but the itching has significantly reduced. The bump bled a little when he was itching intensely. Should we monitor the bump for changes in size or color before visiting the vet, or should we get it checked out immediately? Is there a correlation between the itching and the bump, or did they just occur at the same time?

My Shih Tzu, Hannah, has been regurgitating her food for four days, including rice and chicken. She has been exposed to commercial-strength weed killer and spent time in the hot sun. She is still active and playful but is not getting nutrients. What should I do in the meantime while waiting for urgent care?

My dog, Theo, a 4-year-old mostly poodle with a little Australian Shepherd, has had blood in his stool for a week. He vomited once today, has no appetite but normal thirst, and lower energy. He ate a steak bone two weeks ago and has been on the same raw diet for a long time. He is vaccinated, has a good health history, and is not on any medications. What could be causing this and what should I do?
