My 14-year-old cairn terrier, Gosha, who is diagnosed with anxiety and takes trazodone at night, woke up with body twitching or convulsing. He is unable to sit still, is pacing, and won't stay calm even when held. Could this be anxiety-related, a seizure, a stroke, or due to potential toxins he may have eaten outside? Should we rush him to the emergency hospital?

My 2-year-old French bulldog, Ruby, suddenly started showing pain and limited walking. I took her to an emergency vet who did a full exam of her muscles and spine, found nothing, and did an X-ray that showed no blockage. They prescribed gabapentin. She gets up to do her business but then lays right down. She eats when food is brought to her, but she has trouble walking and seems to be in pain. What could be causing her pain and limited mobility?

My dog, Autumn, hasn't eaten for a couple of days and had black, sticky poohs yesterday. She has been around renovations involving paint and plaster. She is drinking regularly, ate some rice, tuna, and biscuits this morning, and is in good spirits. She also seems more tired than usual. What should I do?

My dog chewed one of my LLBean boots, which is made of leather fabric. He has already pooped since then. Should I bring him to the emergency vet? The dog weighs 75 pounds, was home for about 5 hours today, and hasn't thrown up. His name is Timber, and he is 2 years old.
