My 14-year-old dog, Cassidy, has been lethargic for about 2-3 weeks, showing signs of general malaise and fatigue, with increased breathing rate (83-116 breaths per minute at rest) and occasional panting. She has been coughing and seems to be in pain when taking stairs, but still able to get on the sofa. Her appetite, peeing, and bowel movements are normal. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My 7-year-old Chihuahua, Peanut, was spayed 5 days ago. She is shaking, whining, and running around fast. Her stitches appear to be coming out.
