My 15-year-old dog has been diagnosed with liver issues. He was seen by a vet 2 days ago and is taking a powder medication. He has been trying to bite and scratch, and the next day he vomited, which scared me. I was also given something to sprinkle in water. What else should the vet know, and what steps should I take next?

My Great Dane has a large skin tag on his front right knee that is now oozing, bleeding, has ulcers, and he is constantly licking it. The stalk is becoming thin as the mass grows heavier. The vet quoted $400 for surgical removal, which I cannot afford. Is there a way to remove it at home, like tying thread tightly around the base, or are there other options such as care credit or relinquishing him to a rescue with veterinary services?

I have a 12-1/2 year old Westie with congestive heart failure. My vet has him on theophylline, enalpril, and lasix, but there has been no improvement after 3 weeks. He is still coughing quite a bit. What else can we do for his condition?
