My 15-year-old teacup Chihuahua, Wolfie, is mopey, has cold paws and ears but feels hot in the body cavity area, and is walking like he's drunk. He occasionally picks up one of his paws, but there are no visible wounds. He had his eye removed earlier this year and was fine until a few hours ago. Today, he seems better but has a dry hacking cough with a gag at the end, similar to having a hairball. He's eating and walking around normally, but should I be concerned about the cough?

My 7-year-old German Shepherd (GSD) occasionally has joint issues and takes a supplement (Nutraquin) containing Boswellia and Glucosamine. He developed a slight limp two days ago after a long walk. I have Metacam (an NSAID) and am considering giving it to him. Should I wait 24 hours after stopping his supplement before giving the NSAID, considering the potential for GI bleeding due to the unknown half-life of Boswellia?

My dog was diagnosed with Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis. We started treatment with doxycycline and pain killers, but he has become bloated, lame, and very uncomfortable. He is eating and drinking, but he is very bloated and has swelling in his front right leg and rear legs. He was a happy and healthy dog two weeks ago, but now he can't stand without assistance. What could be causing this and what should we do?

My 2 1/2-year-old Yorkie has been having boils near his rectal area that burst and he licked, leading to vomiting and a loss of appetite. He was diagnosed with an infection and given antibiotics, but now he's vomiting clear stuff and passing dark blood clots or polyp-like material from his rectal area. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 12-year-old Pomeranian is on multiple heart medications and has developed breathing difficulties. He has been prescribed prednisone and antibiotics. Is there anything holistic that could help with his breathing, as he cannot stay on prednisone long-term?
