My dog was diagnosed with Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis. We started treatment with doxycycline and pain killers, but he has become bloated, lame, and very uncomfortable. He is eating and drinking, but he is very bloated and has swelling in his front right leg and rear legs. He was a happy and healthy dog two weeks ago, but now he can't stand without assistance. What could be causing this and what should we do?

My 2 1/2-year-old Yorkie has been having boils near his rectal area that burst and he licked, leading to vomiting and a loss of appetite. He was diagnosed with an infection and given antibiotics, but now he's vomiting clear stuff and passing dark blood clots or polyp-like material from his rectal area.
