My dog, Wacey, a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing 10 lbs, ate canned peas and is now exhibiting neurological symptoms such as enlarged pupils, pacing, shaking more than normal, and acting fearful. His sister, who also ate the peas, is acting normally. What could be the issue and what should I do?

I have a seven-year-old German Shepherd named Koda. He recently experienced a sudden episode where he lost use of his hind legs and was flopping around under my bed. After calming him down, he seemed to snap out of it and returned to normal behavior. Koda has had sniffles or reverse sneezes for about six weeks, which the vet wasn't overly concerned about. He had another seizure on August 20th but has been fine since. What could be causing these episodes, and what should I do next?

My dog had oral surgery yesterday with cauterization of an oral tumor. He was given aspirin for pain but cried non-stop, so we gave him acepromazine to help him sleep. He is now groggy and whiny, and we are waiting to give him tramadol. Is it safe to give him tramadol, and would it sedate him too much?
