I am dealing with arthritis issues in my 8-year-old yellow lab, Zeus. My vet prescribed Adequan injections and Carprofen capsules. However, I read that NSAIDs should not be taken with Adequan. Is this correct? Additionally, is there a time limit for using NSAIDs and Adequan together?

My blind and deaf Chihuahua mix, who is 12 years old and has arthritis and stomach problems, screams every time she is given her medications (gabapentin, Pepcid, and tramadol).
