She stopped eating and drinking, and when she did, she would react by rubbing her nose aggressively and hiding. She was prescribed anti-inflammatory, gabapentin, and an antibiotic, but her condition persisted. After a follow-up vet visit, it was suggested that the remaining teeth might be causing pain. What could be causing her strong reaction to drinking water and not eating, and is there any other potential cause we might have overlooked?

My dog, Moose, age 7, has been experiencing diarrhea and vomiting with blood since Thursday 6/2. He was given Cerenia, Pepcid, fluids, antibiotics, probiotics, and home Cerenia and Pepcid. He has been eating minimally and has not had any water since Thursday. Diarrhea has continued but is less frequent. Should I take him back to the vet due to concerns about dehydration, and what additional tests should be considered?
