My 2.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute has had a persistent cough since Thanksgiving. She was treated for Kennel Cough with two different antibiotics and had normal X-rays of her throat, lungs, and heart. She was put on prednisone, which stopped the coughing but caused side effects. Once off the prednisone, the coughing returned. What could be causing her chronic cough, and what other treatments can be considered?
