My 2-year-old 72lb lab, Drake, has been vomiting multiple times today, with food and a little foam in the vomit. He threw up a black ponytail holder this morning and has vomited several more times since then. He has had normal bowel movements and is playing fine, but his nose is cold. We don't have emergency vets in our area, so I can only take him in the morning. What should I watch for through the night, and should I let him drink water?

My 60-70 pound Husky ate 1 oz of Tomcat poison. No vomit has occurred. How much is the vet consult fee and what should I do?

My 10-year-old lab mix, Baxter, suddenly became off balance, twitches when touched, and has a wobbling head while sitting still. His eyes stay focused straight ahead. He hasn't seen a vet since last year and isn't on any medications. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I was monitoring my 40 lb dog while he was playing with a stuffed toy that had a braided rope tail. He managed to get a small bundle of loose threads and was trying to spit them out. I’m fairly certain I got all of them out of his mouth before he swallowed. The longest thread I removed was about 3 inches. I haven’t had success inducing vomiting at home and he has issues with acid reflex. I just gave him a half slice of bread and some pumpkin to try to bulk up his stool. Does it seem acceptable to monitor him in this case?

I have a small Chihuahua named Bella who is 12 years old. She has had bad breath for over a year, and her back tooth is grey with plaque buildup, and her gums look swollen but are pink. She shows no sign of pain and is eating normally. Should I take her to the vet?

My Saint Bernard, Roxie, age 4 and weighing 130 pounds, experiences nausea twice a year, characterized by panting and eating anything in sight. Our vet prescribed Cerenia tablets, which work well, but they are closed today, and I only have one left. Is there something you can help with?
