She is capable of walking but not down the steps, sleeps a lot, and has been hesitant and slow in movement. She usually takes Dasuquin but refused it this morning. What could be causing this behavior and what should I do?

I have a 5-month-old Yorkie named Garrnet. His penis doesn't retract all the way, and his sheath looks folded in. I had to have him put under once when his penis didn't retract at all, and the vet said to wait until he is a year old before considering surgery. What can be done in the meantime to manage this issue?

My Chihuahua-Corgi mix, Nubeez, is struggling to raise her hind legs to get up a step. She is 7 years old and has had similar issues before. I gave her Gabapentin 100mg along with some Xanax, but I'm out of Prednisone. Gabapentin seems to help a bit. Can I give her more than 2 Gabapentin a day? I won't be able to see my regular vet until Tuesday. Is there anything else I should know about her condition?
