My 12-year-old German Shepherd mix, Eve, started an antibiotic on Friday for a UTI. Since then, she has stopped eating completely. She had surgery 12 days ago to remove a mass from her shoulder. What could be causing her loss of appetite and what should I do?

Hi...I have a 9 year old Shi-Tzu who suffers terribly from dermatitis and a heavy build-up of fungus mostly on his back. Underneath all the gook are little red sores. I keep telling the vets here in TEXAS it is staph that he was born with as I have had him since he was spoon fed and when he was a puppy we lived in St. LOUIS NO. and all the vets there agreed it was staph and that he would have FLARE ups all through out his life. These vets here in TEXAS are saying he has developed a fungal infection due to all the steroid shots over the years...he scratched himself raw. And I take him on 3 hour trips to a much more humid environment about every 4 to 6 weeks so he can come with me as the vet says he has some anxiety. He is on zrytec for excessive scratching..., rye drops for white thick discharge coming out of his eyes, and he has a little arthritis in his left hind leg....we just got back from humid San Antonio to west Texas where we live in San Angelo Texas and I have noticed that he shaking upon breathing in.....he has never done this before...i have given him his , his pain meds, held him to try an calm him....the white gook in his eyes is so bad his eyes are swelling shut....and I don't know what to do?

I have a 13-year-old Golden Retriever named Lincoln who is currently on Rimadyl 75 mg twice daily and Furosemide 20 mg twice daily. He has issues with his hips and front paws. I would like to switch him from Rimadyl to CBD for dogs. What should I consider before making this change?

My puppy (born 10-1-17) has been breathing rapidly while awake and at rest for a few days now. Before that, he drank and peed frequently, much more than my other puppy did at that age. He often peed 2-3 times an hour and it was pale to clear. He doesn’t pee that often now but the rapid breathing has persisted. Yesterday he had a runny nose. He’s still active but does seem to nap a little more. But overall he still plays with us and my other dog. Just worried about the breathing. It’s fast all the time, in the 80s and heart rate 150. No cough. He’s an Australian cattle dog mix. What could be causing this rapid breathing and should I take him to the vet sooner than his scheduled appointment on Jan 4th?

My 11.5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Lotti, has an unusual sudden swelling in one hind leg with no injury or tumor, normal blood markers, and a high fever that has come down to 103. She is eating well and showing good vital signs except for an accelerated heart rate. She has been tested for Lyme disease and is negative. What could be causing this swelling, and what should I look for or do next?
