My 3-month-old puppy, Sport, has difficulty pooping; she strains for a few minutes, and when she finally poops, it is soft and normal. I have not given her anything for constipation, but she drinks lots of water and has her puppy kibble softened with warm water. What could be causing this issue, and what can I do to help her?

My dog has a sensitive stomach and recently vomited after picking up a piece of rotisserie chicken and a bone from the yard where raccoons or possums might have chewed on it.
