My dog, Daisy, a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, has been coughing and hacking without producing anything, has a runny nose with bloody mucus, and has shown blood from her paws. She has no appetite and only wants water. Her energy level is normal, but she won't eat or take her heartworm medicine. We adopted her from a shelter about 2 weeks ago. My puppy, Puddles, who weighs 30lbs, threw up his dinner 3.5 hours after eating it. 10 minutes before he threw up, he ate a small amount of my neighbor's garden fertilizer that looks like dehydrated carrots & cauliflower bits. He's currently taking doxycycline for a cough and has been vomiting every 3 hours. We don't have Pepcid to give him. Should we wait to see a vet in the morning or is this an emergency?

My dog, a 10-year-old rescue Parsons Russell, has been diagnosed with Cushing's disease and is being treated with Vetoryl. Despite the treatment, she is panting a lot, especially in the heat.
