My 3-year-old mini pinscher had a fine morning but started having seizures and vomiting his food, which he ate just fine 4 hours earlier. His front legs go stiff, his body shakes, and he is lethargic with somewhat fuzzy eyes. I tried giving him Pedialyte, but he threw it up as a yellowy brown. I cannot afford a vet. What should I do?

My wiener dog has injured her back and is dragging her back legs. I will bring her to the vet in the morning if it persists, but want to know if I can give her anything for pain. I am an RN and would like to give her some prednisone but don't know dosing for a dog. She weighs around 18lbs.

My dog's creatinine levels have increased from 2.9 to 6.2 despite starting a renal diet and blood pressure medications. The ultrasound showed mildly small kidneys with chronic renal changes and small cysts. I have started subcutaneous fluids. Why would the kidneys deteriorate so quickly, and what other suggestions do you have for her care? Could the level be falsely elevated due to something else? She is also on Cerenia for nausea and has a lack of appetite. When will I know it is time to put her down, and should I be giving her tramadol?

My dog Max has a high white blood cell count of 111,000, no appetite, and weakened condition. He has not eaten in 10 days and has undergone tests for pancreatitis, tick and lyme disease, two ultrasounds, six radiographs, and a joint tap, all of which came back negative. He is currently being tested for Addison's disease, but the main concern is the high WBC. Prednisone treatment for two days has not shown significant improvement. Could this be autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), or is bone marrow cancer a possibility?

Our 10-year-old XXXXX XXXXX Terrier and Daschund mix, Heather, has blood spots in her urine and has had a few accidents in the house. We think she has a bladder infection and have some Clindamycin HCI 75mg left from her previous dental treatment. Would it be okay to give her this medication?

My dog had glucose in her urine, but her bloodwork was normal. She was recently in a kennel and experienced vomiting and diarrhea. What could be causing the glucose in her urine?
