My 3-year-old Pomeranian has persistent reverse sneezing and signs of tracheal collapse. I'm considering giving her Benedryl, but I'm unsure about the dosage and if it's safe to combine with her current medication, Metacam. Should I try Benedryl, and if so, how much should I give her?

My neighbor told me he saw my dog, a Chow Pit mix, with a cat in his mouth today. I didn't see it, but now my dog has thrown up twice, is very weak, has a thready pulse, and labored breathing. What should I do?

I had my dog cremated, and when I went to sprinkle the ashes, it looked like dry oatmeal. Is that normal?

My 10-week-old Wheaton/Poodle mix may have swallowed a penny. Should I wait to see if she passes it or take her to the vet as soon as possible?

My 10-year-old Shih Tzu is constantly licking her lips, yawning, sighing, and appears uncomfortable, especially at night, disrupting her sleep. She used to drink a lot of water but now avoids it. Her teeth are good, and her tests for worms are negative. Her bowels and stool are normal, but she seems distressed and sometimes sounds like she has something stuck in her throat or nose. What could be causing her discomfort and what can I do to help her?

My 7-year-old chihuahua, who is prone to frontal seizures and not up to date on shots but has had them in the past, had bloody diarrhea at 1 am. It looked gelatinous and smelled bloody. She is not as energetic as usual, but her gums have color and she is eating boiled chicken and water. No more diarrhea today. Does this require an emergency trip to the vet, or can she wait until tomorrow to see a vet?
