My 4-year-old toy Yorkie has fallen down and acted like she's in pain on a few occasions over the last few weeks. During these episodes, she moves her head around as if she's temporarily lost her vision and shakes. These episodes last about 30 minutes, then she acts fine. I took her to the vet once, who suggested it could be low blood sugar or a seizure, but didn't confirm. Could it be a brain tumor?

My 75 lb rescue dog is very anxious when we leave him alone during our vacation, causing him to scratch doors and destroy the rental house. Can I give him 0.5 mg of Ativan to help calm him down?

My dog has suddenly lost use of his left hind leg. He was fine yesterday, but today he struggles to walk on it and it gives way when he stands. He also had a very runny, watery bowel movement, which is unusual for him, and he seems to be feeling sorry for himself without showing signs of pain. What could be causing this and what should I do?
