My dog, Savannah, a 14-year-old miniature pinscher, has a weird spot on her belly that I noticed last night. She isn't licking or rubbing it, and it doesn't seem tender. She also has a small cut on her shoulder from trying to get under the fence, but that's unrelated to the belly issue. He was treated at an ER vet with SQ fluids, an anti-nausea injection, and a gastroprotectant injection. The vet attributed his symptoms to stress, but I am concerned and would like to know if there are any additional steps or over-the-counter medications I should consider.
