My 5-pound Chihuahua named Moe, who is 8 years and 1 month old, has had a red eye and puffiness for over a week. I've tried saline drops, Benadryl, and he doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm concerned he might have contracted conjunctivitis from my grandchildren who had it. I'm on disability and can't afford the vet fees right now. What home remedies or financial assistance options are available to help treat my dog?

The red eye and puffiness in Moe could be a sign of conjunctivitis, which needs veterinary diagnosis...

My dog, Kona, age 5, is constantly vomiting shortly after eating or drinking water. The vomit is mostly liquidy with food in it. There is no indication that he has eaten anything unusual. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 13-year-old cocker spaniel, Nico, had surgery to remove a small subcutaneous MCT. He is currently taking Pepcid and Benedryl twice a day. Should I switch him to a low-carb, no-grain diet, or do you have any other recommendations?

My dog, Zoey, age 12, has been diagnosed with dry eye (kcs) 3 years ago and rubs her eyes a lot. I currently only use wipes and eye wash. What can I do to help alleviate her discomfort?

My 2-month-old husky puppy chewed on an almost empty pack of First Strike soft bait rat poison with difethialone (25 ppm) three hours ago. She may have ingested some poison, but I'm not sure. What should I do to ensure her safety and should I continue giving her vitamin K if she shows no symptoms after a week?

My dog, Duke, a little over 1 year old, has been vomiting since yesterday, about 30 minutes to an hour after eating part of a salami bagel. He also got into kinetic sand and a fake Christmas tree wrapped with tinsel a couple of weeks ago. He has vomited multiple times, including in the middle of the night and this morning. He recently pooped, which looked solid, and has no sneezing, coughing, or eye issues. He was on antibiotics for a laceration on his neck but is otherwise healthy. Should I take him to the vet immediately, wait to see if he stops vomiting, or make an appointment for tomorrow if he continues to vomit?
