My 50 lb Boxer-Pit, Miley, ate 12 oz of dry Temptations shrimp flavored cat treats yesterday and hasn't eaten for a day but is drinking water. She seems more tired than usual, looks sad, and is laying down under my bed. She is not whining but won't come out from under the bed. How should I address this situation?

My dog, Lucy, had an extreme reaction to fireworks, hyperventilating and shaking uncontrollably for nearly 3 hours. She is 11 and a half years old and was in rescue kennels in Cyprus for 8 years before I rescued her. She has no other health issues but is one of the most nervous dogs they have ever had. What should I do when she has such severe reactions, and is there anything I can do to prepare for future events with fireworks?
