He was prescribed an antibiotic and ear drops for a yeast or bacterial infection. What could be causing this foam, and what should I do?

My dog may have eaten some gum. I initially thought it was much more, but we found most of the pieces outside. He weighs about 20-25 lbs and is otherwise healthy. I checked the ingredients and there was no xylitol. If he had one piece, will it hurt? Should I still try to induce vomiting?
