Our dog, Wesley, ate part of a toy with string-like fur. He passed some of it in his poop, but later vomited clear liquid and has been making hacking sounds. He weighs 40lbs and is 1.5 years old. How should we handle this situation?

My dog, Loki, a 4-year-old healthy dog, has been vomiting foamy substance for about 30 minutes, sometimes twice a day, since this past Tuesday. He has a good appetite, is drinking, urinating, and passing normal bowels. He has eaten bunny poop and tissue from the bathroom garbage can. The vomiting usually occurs at 3:00am. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have an 11-year-old lab mix with cancer in his snout for 3 years. Recently, I noticed his head is dented on one side, he is drooling on the same side, and there is a foul odor. He is eating, drinking, and using the bathroom fine, but his energy level is lower. I am considering giving him pain medication and plan to take him to the vet this week. How should I manage his pain, and what should I look for to know if it's time to let him go?
