I have a 24kg mixed breed dog named Champion from Burma. I have two 10ml bottles of ivermectin from the local vet. We calculated a 1.5ml dose for him. Is this correct, and should I taper up daily? Also, what should I do if Champion shows side effects or if the mange seems to be going away?

He was prescribed prednisone and an ointment by the vet, but since coming home, he has been panting, shaking, and not resting well. He hasn't had a bowel movement and seems reluctant to go outside. Should I be concerned and take him back to the vet?
