My 6-year-old Miniature Golden Retriever named Casper is acting very sedated, staring at the wall, hiding under the bed, and not interested in treats or food. He had a bit of food earlier and his stomach is gurgling. He has been like this for two nights. He did not vomit but had normal poop. He is not current on his heartworm prevention and has not had any cough. What could be wrong with him and what should I do?

Casper's symptoms suggest he might be nauseous, possibly due to intestinal parasites or pancreatitis...

My 6-year-old pit bull terrier, Cali, has been experiencing a mucous-like, greenish discharge from her eye since the beginning of the week. She is not fixed and is currently having her period. The eye is bloodshot and she occasionally squints when the discharge is cleaned off. She shows no other signs of discomfort or itchiness, and there is no nasal discharge. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 7-pound dog named Thor has been experiencing diarrhea that turned into bloody gelatinous goo. He was given Meloxidyl at 3 am, and he has always been healthy and up to date on his shots. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Tucker, a 10-month-old weighing 15 lbs, ate half of a chewable vitamin C tablet 10 minutes ago. The tablet contains sucrose, vegetable stearic acid, citrus bioflavonoids, citrus aurantium, fructose, silica, rose hips powder, rose canine, acerola powder, malpighia puncifolia, and magnesium stearate. He has not vomited and seems fine. Is there any cause for concern?

My dog, Bear, has been vomiting, drinking water but not eating, and is lethargic for a few days. He chews on hard plastic and tree roots. What could be causing this and what tests should be done?

Our dog Murphy, who is at end-of-life due to abnocarcenoma blocking his airway, is scheduled to be let go tomorrow. His breathing issues are worsening, and he has trouble sleeping due to difficulty breathing when laying down. We have carprofen prescribed for him, but we want to know how much we can safely give him over the recommended dosage to ease his suffering for the next 20 hours without worsening his condition.
