My 6-year-old Siberian Husky, Maddox, sprained his back leg while jumping a fence. He sometimes walks gingerly on it and yelps in pain when standing, sitting, or walking, but he seems fine on walks and is still eating, peeing, and pooing. Walking up stairs is difficult for him. What could be the issue and what should I do?

My chocolate lab/retriever mix, Rylie, has had kennel cough since June 1st and is on two antibiotics (Doxycycline and Amoxicillin). Can she be outside with one other dog, considering I'm a human nurse and understand that once on antibiotics, one is usually not contagious?
