My 60-pound, 4-year-old Pit Bull, Diggy, has eaten some of my philodendron plant and is now acting like she's coughing. She keeps wanting to go outside and lick the grass. What can I do for her at home since our vet is closed?

My dog has bloody stool. He doesn't seem more or less thirsty than normal, plays and eats as usual, and doesn't cry when using the restroom. He hasn't eaten anything unusual recently, and he's a Pocket standard bully, one year old, with no other medical issues or medications. How much blood is in the stool, and what should I do?

My dog leaked pink discharge from his rectum. He's on metronidazole for a second day and is also healing from an abscess. Could the discharge be from the anal gland? Should I be concerned about the discharge coming from inside if it's still infected?

My dog has chewed through a 'deoxidizer' packet. Are they poisonous, and should I induce vomiting if the dog seems fine?

Hello! We have a 45-50lb Samoyed. My husband and I were cuddling her and leaned on her, causing her to let out a little squeak/grunt/weird breath. We are concerned if we hurt her, possibly puncturing her lung or causing any injury. She is currently eating her dinner and seems content. Should we be worried, and what should we look for to ensure she is okay?

A 10-year-old previously healthy and active male Yorkie has experienced rapid onset of bloody diarrhea, leading to a diagnosis of pancreatitis in the ER. Initial treatment included a Proviable Kit, Metronidazole, and Cerenia, with a recommendation for a boiled chicken and rice diet followed by a low-fat prescription diet. The dog had been on a mix of Farmers Dog fresh food and Natural Balance kibble. Recent tests showed a positive result for perfringens, and previous labs indicated slightly elevated lipase levels. The vet suggested follow-up tests for lipase and fecal in a couple of weeks. How can pancreatitis be ruled out to avoid lifelong use of expensive prescription food? Will insurance cover the ultrasound if pancreatitis is suspected but perfringens might be the cause? Are there any recommendations for treats going forward?
