My 75 lb dog ate a lot of walnuts about 16 hours ago. He has vomited several times since then and seems a little lethargic and drooling. I gave him some rice, chicken, and water, which he is keeping down. Should I take him to the emergency vet?

My dog ate about a third of a bag of chocolate morsels around 6 pm. She has thrown up twice after being given bread and has spit up water twice. She is now drinking a lot of water. What else can we do?

Good morning Dr. This is Cynthia Cahoon. My dog Simba is a large, 205-pound dog who is having difficulty getting up and has bloodshot eyes, but no fever. She has been eating only hotdogs and drinking more water than usual. She is currently on penicillin but still has urinary incontinence. What could be causing her symptoms and what should I do?
