My 8-year-old Bichon, Cupcake, has been diagnosed with 3-4 bladder stones, strains to urinate, has bloody urine, and has completed a round of antibiotics. We initially planned to try a special diet and antibiotics for a month followed by a repeat x-ray, but decided to proceed with surgery due to her sporadic urination, incontinence, and pain. We were given a surgery date a month from now. Is waiting a month too risky for complications, and should we consider an earlier surgery date?

Our 11-month-old Wheaten Terrier, Rufus, got into some garbage a couple of days ago. He was vomiting about twice a day for 2-3 days and is now super lethargic. He is around 25 lbs and may have ingested a diaper from the garbage. He hasn't vomited in 2 days, is still having bowel movements, eating, and drinking, but is lethargic. Should I seek emergency care for him or wait until the vet opens?
