My 8-year-old dachshund is taking gabapentin for mild grade 1 IVDD and was scheduled for a teeth cleaning, but blood work shows an ALP level of 190. He is now scheduled for a bile acid test before dental work. How concerned should I be about this ALP level, especially given my previous experience with liver and gallbladder disease in another dachshund?

My dog, Toby, is very constipated. He is about 12 years old and has hard, marble-like stools that he scatters over a wide area. We've been giving him green beans and oil to try to loosen him up. Is this okay, and what else should we do?

My 14-year-old small dog, a chihuahua, has had diarrhea for 2 days, is lethargic, vomited after eating, and has very runny diarrhea. He won't drink water and only took a couple of drops. What should I do?

My dog, Murphy, a 60lb Goldendoodle, ate a bunch of cow ribs from the trash and threw up some chewed-up bone and meat. He seems fine otherwise. Should I be concerned, and what should I do to ensure he's okay?

My 13-year-old Jack Russell, Brandi, is eating her tail and legs, has red hot spots on her private area, tail, and legs, and is starting to poop everywhere, which is unusual for her. What should I put on her?

My vet put my dog on 30mg Vetoryl for Cushings disease. She is a bichon frise and is now critically ill with failing kidneys, a liver infection, and is unable to walk. She was fine before taking the tablets, but now she is vomiting and has diarrhea. The vet has kept her for a week, but she seems worse. Her tongue is hanging out, and she is on a drip and pain relief, but there is no improvement. Could the tablets have caused this, and what advice can you give me?
