My 8-year-old dog has small lumps near her breast, and the vet diagnosed her with cancerous tumors. She is scheduled for surgery next week to be spayed and have the tumors removed. What are the chances of her surviving the operation, and what are the chances of her getting cancer again? What can I do to help prevent this from happening, and should she undergo chemotherapy or radiation after surgery?
