My 87-pound, two and a half-year-old chocolate Labrador, Moose, has become progressively lethargic today to the point where she doesn't want to move at all. She has been a bit 'off' since the middle of the day, and now, eight hours later, she seems disoriented. Her appetite and stool are normal, and she hasn't vomited. We suspect she might have ingested something unusual, possibly drugs, but she hasn't shown typical signs of poisoning like vomiting. What should we do?

My 4.5-month-old dog, Ruby, is excessively locking the floors, trying to puke, running around like a crazy dog, and eating grass. I've checked her throat with fingers, gave her water, and tried giving her a spoon of peanut butter to see if it would help her throat. She also has a new toy from the store. What could be causing this behavior and what should I do?

Hi Dr. Perry, this is Cynthia again with Coby the Boston Terrier. I was in communication with you a few days ago regarding a protruding bulge underneath his anus, which has now been confirmed as a perineal hernia. The vet said it's just fat at the moment. The next step is to schedule a consultation with an emergency clinic that specializes in this, but they are booked for another month. My fear is that he may encounter complications during and/or after surgery since it's been present for a few months now. Do you think he'll experience any complications?
