My 9 lb dog has diarrhea and I am giving her Fortiflora probiotic. The dosage is the same for dogs of all sizes, but the tablets are huge. Should I give her the entire tablet, and is it safe to break it into smaller pieces for easier administration?

Yes, you should give the full tablet to ensure your dog, Harley, gets the full amount of probiotics ...

Jenna is a 13-year-old mixed breed, about 20lbs. She's been walking weird for about a month, with her hind legs being very uncoordinated and stumbling, now starting to drag them. Her tail still wags, but we've been carrying her outside to go potty. She has an appointment tomorrow, but I'm nervous and don't know what to expect.

My dog, Bass, a 7-year-old mini dachshund weighing about 18 pounds, got into the trash and ate some spoiled food 24 hours ago. He is now pacing, panting, stepping side to side, and has a warm nose. He threw up about 20 minutes ago, but it was a small amount and not bloody. What should I do?

My 13-year-old dog, Buster, has a distended firm abdomen and general discomfort. He has not vomited much, just some small amounts of whitish foam. His last meal was 10 hours ago, and his last known bowel movement was at least 8 hours ago and was normal. He has some arthritis but no other medications. His activity level has not changed until this incident. What could be causing his discomfort, and what should I do?

My 9-pound Yorkie, Luna, ate a single Taki that fell on the ground. She is almost 4 years old. What should I do to ensure she is okay?
