My 9-year-old, 100-pound lab ate two plastic dipping sauce containers approximately 24 hours ago. He is eating, drinking, and defecating normally, but I haven't seen any sign of the containers in his stool. What should I do to ensure they pass safely, and when should I be concerned about potential blockage?

My female Rat Terrier is showing signs of a UTI, such as constant licking, dark and foul-smelling urine, and watery blood stains on her blanket. I cannot afford a vet visit and have leftover Metronidazole 500 mg. Can I safely give this to her, and does it sound like a UTI to you?

My Lhasa Monique, who is diabetic and recovering from a recent episode of vomiting and lethargy, is having trouble keeping her eyes open and sleeps a lot with her eyes closed. She has a slight infection in her right eye and a small cyst that may require surgery. Additionally, she is on an SD diet due to previous stone problems but I'm concerned about her protein intake. Should I switch her to a homemade diet, and what are your thoughts on this?
