My American Eskimo has developed a "hot spot" on her tail, which is bright red and obviously irritating her. She's licking it and it definitely is bothering her. Is there anything I can do for her to relieve the discomfort until Monday when I will take her to the vet?

My Chihuahua is on Vetmedin 1.25mg, Enalpril 2.5mg, and Lasix 12.5 mg, all twice a day. She was given 2 shots of Lasix yesterday at the veterinary office, but she is having difficulty and making gurgling noises. How much Lasix can she safely take in pill form per day?
