My Brittany Spaniel is almost 14 years old and has issues with her legs and back; she is very sore and lame, has difficulty getting up and down, sleeps a lot, and has bowel incontinence when she walks. She also coughs frequently, has a history of eating her own poop, and has been vomiting a lot. What can I do since I have no money to take her to the vet?

I have two 15-week-old English Bulldogs with intermittent diarrhea, which has been more persistent lately. They are fed twice daily and given Pectin after each stool. My husband found a worm in the stool two weeks ago. They are active and not in distress, but I am worried. They are up to date with immunizations and came from a reputable breeder. No change in their food. What could be causing the diarrhea and what should I do?

My 12-pound dog is constipated, was vomiting and nauseated, and is a bit shaky. I've given Gas-X a few times today, which helps produce gas. Can I administer Colace? The dog ate rice, chicken with squash and zucchini (about 6 tablespoons) 2 days ago and had sweet potato mashed the day before. The dog's name is Ralphie, and there is nothing else the veterinarian should be aware of.

I have a 2.5-year-old husky mix/sled dog named Morgan who has lost 10 pounds rapidly, has large stools, is always hungry, eats her own poop, and has had normal blood work with one slightly elevated liver enzyme. She has been treated for various conditions including coccidiosis and has had a change of ownership. What could be causing her weight loss and digestive issues, and should I consider food allergies or a grain-free diet?

My miniature schnauzer has broken the rightmost toenail on his left paw after walking on new snow. The toenail is longer than the others and is dangling loosely. The bleeding has stopped, but he is limping and sensitive. Can I safely clip off the excess, and how close to the toe itself should I cut?
