My Chihuahua, Tinkerbella, is shaking a lot, walking backwards, and acting unusually depressed and unable to jump. She has been like this for about two weeks and it has progressively worsened. She whimpers when picked up and has started shaking and walking backwards today. She hasn't vomited or had diarrhea, and her eating and drinking habits seem normal. What could be wrong and what should I do?

I recently took my healthy 14-year-old basset hound, Penny, for a check-up and the vet prescribed furosemide and enalapril. In the past three weeks, Penny has lost 4 lbs, her appetite, her strength, and has developed bloody diarrhea. She also does not drink any water. Can I safely stop these medications immediately?
