My chocolate lab was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her mammary area a few years ago. The tumor has ulcerated, swelled, and is draining a lot, leaving stains on the carpets. Her fur is matted and dirty. How serious is this condition, and when should I consider putting her down? She is 14 years old.

My dog has had chronic diarrhea for 3 months, with blood tests showing an intestinal infection and fecal samples indicating campylobacter and E. coli. Despite treatments including antibiotics, B12 injections, pancreatic enzymes, prednisolone, clavaseptin, colvasone, and a specialized diet, the diarrhea persists, leading to significant weight loss. Is there anything else we can try before considering surgery?

I have an outdoor cat, a dog on heartworm medicine, and a recently adopted puppy from a shelter who was throwing up roundworms after deworming. I also have a four-year-old child. What are the risks for all of us in terms of getting worms, and how can I prevent this from escalating? Additionally, my dog is vomiting and acting lethargic; could this be related to the roundworm infection, or is it likely unrelated?

My 3-year-old dog has had a swollen tendon in his hind left leg for the last month. He is taking anti-inflammatory medication from the vet, weighs 30 lbs, and occasionally limps. The swelling has decreased somewhat, and he hasn't been getting any exercise due to not going out for walks. An X-ray showed some inflammation but no other issues. Can he go for short walks, and should surgery be considered? What is the worst that could happen?

My 2.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute has had a persistent cough since Thanksgiving. She was treated for Kennel Cough with two different antibiotics and had normal X-rays of her throat, lungs, and heart. She was put on prednisone, which stopped the coughing but caused side effects. Once off the prednisone, the coughing returned. What could be causing her chronic cough, and what other treatments can be considered?
