My cocker spaniel is 16 years old and has been limping badly due to shoulder pain. The vet prescribed Traodone, Gabapentin, and Carprofen, but they made her too drowsy. I switched to CBD oil, which is helping but she's still limping. Can I give her any/all of the original prescriptions along with the CBD oil? Additionally, she is panting and pacing when not sleeping. Is this due to pain or anxiety?

I have a diabetic dog named Tootsie, who will be 14 years old on 4-22, and she has asthma/chronic bronchitis. I want to know if there is an OTC supplement or remedy I can give her for her condition.

I am caring for my son's family dog, Boomer, a 13-year-old male Shih Tzu weighing 14 lbs. Boomer was prescribed Cerenia 16mg (1/2 tablet every 24 hours) and Metronidazole 250 mg (1/2 tablet every 12 hours) after becoming sick. He is currently experiencing difficulty breathing, with gasping and gurgling sounds, especially after minimal activity. He is resting and breathing slower but still has gurgling sounds. There are no wounds on his feet, he has a few lumps on his back that have been there for a while, he is eating very little, drinking a lot of water, and is blind in his right eye. What should I do to help Boomer?

My dog ate my vial of pills (Diamox 250 mg, about 30 pills). He's thrown up a few times and seems to be working it out. Should I bring him to a vet?

My golden retriever was chewing aggressively on a nylabone when he started coughing and gagging, which has been sporadic since last night. He eventually vomited, but it was dry and thick like mashed potatoes. He is now resting and quiet. When should we take him to the vet if at all? Anything we should be doing?
