What would happen if a year-old Chihuahua accidentally consumes Ex-Lax, and should I take him to the vet or wait?

My 13-year-old dog suddenly developed a limp in his paw, which progressed to complete paralysis of his back legs within a week. Despite perfect blood work and no broken bones in the x-rays, he can't stand or control his body from falling over. What could be causing this and is there any hope for recovery?

My female Labrador has a slowly growing, spongy swelling at the bottom of her front leg, now the size of a plum, which doesn't appear to hurt her but could be caught or rubbed. Should I see a vet and have it removed, especially since the vet previously suggested removal if it got any bigger?

I helped save a dog that may have leptospirosis and touched it with my hand, petting its head and between its eyes. I did not have any cuts or scrapes on my hand and used antibacterial soap afterwards. How long does the test take to find out if the dog has leptospirosis?

Our certified purebred, Canadian Champion Golden Retriever has a low sperm count/damage to his testicle(s), which our breeder attributes to him swimming in a freshwater, spring-fed lake. We have tested him for Brucellosis, which came back negative. Is there any known correlation between swimming in a lake and low sperm count/sterility in dogs, or any other potential causes for this issue?
