My dog ate a small amount of a poppy seed pastry (less than 1/10th of it, but there were lots of poppy seeds). The dog is a 15 lb, 2-year-old named Ruthie, and she ate about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of seeds 10 minutes ago. She seems totally fine as of now. Should I be concerned about poppy seed toxicity?

My French Bulldog, Sophie, who is 2 1/2 years old, came back from daycare with a hurt leg. She is not using the leg and is in pain. We can't see any visible changes in her legs or feet, but she is tentative about putting weight on it. The daycare person thought she might have torn a muscle. What should we do?
