My new 15 lb mixed terrier breed dog, Murphy, who is 9 months old, has a wet cough and congestion that started 1-2 days ago. He was vaccinated for kennel cough on Saturday, but these symptoms seem different. He has also been scratching around his neck and ears. His foster mom gave him doxycycline for 14 days as her other dogs had 'something respiratory going around' but he hadn't shown symptoms yet. What could be causing his symptoms and what should I tell the vet?

My vitamins fell on the floor and I think my dog ate a 400 mg magnesium pill and a 50+ yr old daily probiotic. Should I induce vomiting? The dog weighs 17 lbs, ate the vitamins 15 minutes ago, and is named Coco, aged 3 1/2.

My senior dog, Patches, was attacked by a groundhog. He has bite wounds on his muzzle and neck, which are superficial. He was reactive and sensitive to everything after the attack. Is it worth trying to sedate him with Trazodone to get a muzzle over his injuries for another rabies booster, considering his previous reaction to sedation and anesthesia?
