My dog, Brindle, a 3/4 razor edge pit bull and 1/4 chocolate lab, turned 1 on October 26th. She started yipping when using her back legs to jump, won't try walking up the stairs, and won't jump up on me. She also made a small yip when standing up and went down the stairs awkwardly. She seems more tired than usual. What could be causing her discomfort and what should I do?

My dog, Coco, who is about 6 1/2 years old, was playing laser tag earlier and let out a blood-curdling cry for about 2 minutes. She's been having trouble jumping on furniture and going up/down steps. I thought it might be her nails pressing on a pad on one of her feet, so I had my husband take her in for a nail trim. Now it seems like it's her right back hip/leg, and I can feel swelling near her spine on the right side near her hip. How long has she had these signs? Does she seem to be favoring any of her legs? Is she holding up either hind leg and unable to put it down at all? Is the swelling fluidy, firm, or sore to the touch?

I have a reindeer chihuahua/miniature pincer mix named Radar, who is approximately 8 years old. Radar has started coughing and is having difficulty breathing, often holding his head back to keep his airway open. He has experienced occasional seizures since he was small and is current on all vaccines. The coughing began 3-4 days ago and has become more frequent, especially when he tries to lay down or move around. His nose has been dry for the last couple of days, and he has been heaving with his breathing efforts. What could be causing this, and what should I do?

My 16-year-old Border Collie, Gracie May, has been vomiting yellowish-green all day today and is getting very weak. She brought in a dead squirrel two days ago. About two months ago, the vet thought she might have Crohn's disease but it was never verified. Can she wait to go to the vet in the morning or should she go to the ER vet tonight?
