My dog, Atticus, age 7, almost 8, threw up bright red with food in it, which was not liquidy but mucusy. He has not eaten anything unusual, and I cannot find anything in his vomit. Is this a cause for concern, and what should I watch out for until I can get him to a vet?

My dog, Cookie, has had diarrhea for two weeks, was treated with metronidazole and dewormer, but symptoms returned. She has a history of pancreatitis and gall bladder surgery. She has been given omeprazole and cerenia, but her appetite is still low, and her stomach is gassy. Her stool has not been examined, and she has been diagnosed with pancreatitis. Could it still be a bacterial infection, and should her stool be examined again? What else can be done to help her recover?

My 45 lb lab ate about half of a bar of rat poison containing 0.1% Bromethalin less than 2 hours ago. We induced vomiting and the poison was intact in her vomit. What should we do next, and are there any signs of toxicity to watch out for?
