Our dog, Bailey, a mini schnauzer around eight or nine years old, has started constantly looking up at the ceiling, sniffing, and moving his head around, especially in the last few days. He does this behavior sometimes but often enough, and it sometimes prevents him from settling down. His appetite seems normal, and he appears otherwise healthy. We are located in Montréal, Canada, where it is currently snowy and cold. What could be causing this behavior, and what should we do?
