She has been uncomfortable for about 3 months due to the long nails, and the infection has been a concern for about a month. My dog, Bud, has been vomiting for the past three days. He had diarrhea but now has hard poops. He is eating but not much, and the vomit is all water. He is lethargic. The vomit is yellowish now but was foamy two days ago and contains no food. He has been eating snow and may be constipated. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him at home?

My 11-year-old Havanese, Sammy, has one hip larger than the other, which looks swollen but is not painful. I noticed this in the last few days, and he does not lick the area. He will be 12 in May, and I live in Canada but am currently in the US for the holidays. We will be home in about a month, where I can take him to his regular vet. Could this be an infection, and what can I do in the meantime?

My dog's bum smells metallic, which I believe could be due to her anal glands. My vet is closed for the night, but they open at 8am tomorrow. Is this something that can wait until the morning, or should I take her to an ER tonight? Additionally, is there anything I can do about the smell in the meantime?
