My dog, Diesel, a 5 and 1/2-year-old black dog, has a round, dry patch around his eye that has been present for a month. He used to lick his paws a lot but has stopped. I've tried various topical treatments but haven't been consistent. Is there a pill or other treatment I can give him for this issue?
