Sometimes, he screams in pain and cannot touch his body. What could be causing these symptoms, and what tests or examinations should be conducted to diagnose the issue?

My dog, a 50 lbs, 8-month-old Goldendoodle named Cooper, just ate some mouse killer. It happened about 10 minutes ago, and I'm unsure of how much he consumed, but I noticed some in his teeth and managed to pull a piece out. What should I do to ensure his safety?

My 9-year-old female lab suddenly has an open sore on her back, possibly where a fatty tissue was. She doesn't seem to be in pain, but there is something white poking through the wound. Could it be from the fatty tissue, and what should I do?

I have an almost 15-year-old Terrier mix female with early symptoms of chronic kidney disease, no stones or infection. Her vet wants to put her on medication and special food, but can I make her a kidney-friendly diet at home? Additionally, her liver enzymes are elevated, and we have an additional medication for that. I'm also concerned about the cost of the medications, which is $200 per month, and I can't afford that. Are there any alternatives or supplements that could help her kidneys and liver?
