My dog, Elliot, is pooping mostly blood. We noticed this on Monday. He's drinking the same amount as normal, acting fine, and recently ate a pine cone. He's up to date on his vaccines and had a slight change in his food flavor but the same brand. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I believe my dog, Clark, a 3-year-old husky/beagle mix, has an ear infection. His regular vet cannot see him for a week and a half, and no other vets in the area can see him before we go out of town this weekend. His right ear was beet red and had a brownish sticky discharge, but he isn't scratching or showing lethargy or digestive symptoms. Does this service offer virtual vet consultations and, if necessary, prescriptions?
