My dog, Finley, a 2-year-old labradoodle weighing 35 lbs, ate a small amount of onion dip from the trash, possibly around 1/8 cup or less. She has not vomited and seems fine except for sour breath. Should I be concerned about onion toxicity, and is there anything else I should monitor or do for her?

Our Westie, Walter, has been going from not wanting to walk and play to his normal self. He had a crooked toenail that was clipped and given pain pills, which seemed to help. However, his back gets hunched up and he yelps in pain, but he has been eating and pooping normally. What could be causing his pain and what should we do?

My 11-year-old dog, Max, has an abscess between his eyes and is experiencing heavy breathing, possibly due to snoring. He was recently on antibiotics for a swollen and bulging eye and has gum disease. What should I do to help him until I can get him to the vet?

My smaller dog, Merle, ate a significant amount of rawhide and became almost unconscious. He has since regained motor control but is vomiting water and passing small amounts of blood. The vet said this is normal due to possible gut tearing. What should I do to help him through the night until he can be x-rayed?

My 6-month-old Frenchton (a mix between a Boston Terrier and a French Bulldog) might have eaten one of my Ambien 10 mg sleeping pills. I made her throw up twice, but there was nothing in her vomit. She weighs about 18 lbs and seems fine now, but I am worried. What should I do?
